How it works →What is RaceLife?
RaceLife is motorsport component tracking software from SATURN SYSTEMS LIMITED. It brings usage, maintenance schedules, inspections and history together to help teams prepare reliable cars and protect every finish.
Who is it for?
RaceLife is designed for race teams, owners, drivers and mechanics who want to stay ahead of maintenance, from test days to championship campaigns.
How does RaceLife help me act before components fail?
RaceLife uses the usage you log and the intervals you set to flag components due soon or overdue for maintenance or inspection. This helps you plan work before a failure disrupts your racing. These flags reflect your schedules; they do not measure a part’s physical condition or predict exactly when it will break.
What can I track?
You can track multiple vehicles, main components and their subcomponents. Records include usage, maintenance intervals, inspections, replacements, notes and optional part and serial numbers. You can also enter budgeted rebuild or replacement costs.
Can I use miles, kilometres and running hours?
Yes. Vehicles can use miles or kilometres, with a display toggle between the two. You can log running hours as well as distance, and choose distance or hours as the maintenance basis for a main component.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create an account with your email and password, then add your first car. Each account has its own cars and maintenance records.
Where is my data stored?
Your saved records are stored securely in your RaceLife account using Cloudflare. Completed changes save automatically. Wait for “All changes saved” before closing the app. Log in on another device to retrieve your saved cars. An internet connection is required to save to your account.
How do I back up or restore my records?
Open the three-dot car options menu and select Backup / restore. From there you can export your records or restore a saved backup. If you have not created a vehicle yet, use Restore a backup on the starting screen.
Will my existing records still work when the app moves?
V1 starts with fresh accounts. Records from the earlier browser-only prototype are not automatically imported. Log in to your RaceLife account to retrieve the cars you create in V1.
Is RaceLife a replacement for an inspection?
No. RaceLife helps you organise records and schedules using the information you enter. Maintenance intervals and decisions about a component’s condition still need to follow the relevant manufacturer guidance and your own engineering checks.
